Seow On 7
A day in the life between the neighbourhood nagging senior, Aunty Seow, and a young, newly wedded couple, Colin and Joann, sends the three into the heart of every trivial neighbourhood squabbles that quickly escalates and leaves each of them with their own emotional trauma.A day of remembering and honouring the death anniversary of Aunty Seow’s late husband was met with a rowdy night of food, drinks and bustling mahjong throughout the night. Aunty Seow and the couple faced each other in a confrontation that no one wants to have. The three must now decide, in their own way, what to do to make their living conditions better for one another - to continue being sworn enemies, or to leave ego at the door and welcome a new friend?A Viddsee Original ProductionDirector Statement: Young or old, all of us will have at least one encounter with a neighbour that does not have the same frequency as us. Maybe one that makes noise when we want things to be quiet and another, does things that we cannot live with. An annoying neighbour is a staple in every neighbourhood yet we will never understand their lives if we do not reach out to them. People live in different conditions and lifestyles even though they live in the same apartment building. And that is what makes life quite beautiful and colourful in its own way. When was the last time you really get to know your neighbour and invite them for a meal? When was the last time you actually have a conversation with them? This film explores not only the generational gaps that haunts everyone of every age but also to explore the idea that to make strangers into friends, you must be the one that reaches out your hand. And who knows, you will make a friend or two?

The 12th Man Ep 1: The Love Of Football
In this opening episode, married couple Sunny and Yana Lee share their history of supporting local football in the S.League and the ups and downs that each die-hard supporter faces as they test their love of football throughout the years.A Viddsee Original ProductionDirector Statement: The story of ‘The 12th Man’ blossomed from my love for local music. A close friend of mine joined the Oi/Punk band Gate3 back in 2018 and I was super intrigued by how they perfectly blend both the love for music and local football so well. While performing their live set, the band would have a football placed in the crowd and the audience would mosh and kick the ball around. The first of its kind for me to witness and what joy that brings to me. From there, I fell into a rabbit hole. I was fascinated by the rich culture our local football had, which led me to acquire new friendships and bonds with fellow supporters. It was when I heard their stories of their support throughout the years that inspired me to dive in deeper into our local football. There are so many unique stories and individuals alike. What is being represented or being told in the headlines were merely the surface of something more passionate. In some sense, the local football scene and the local music scene where I grew up in, had so many similarities both captivating yet haunting. Similar to the music scene, it is both a niche within a niche and I felt the need to tell their untold stories. I hope ‘The 12th Man’ would inspire others outside of the niche as I was.

The Last Wish
It is Chinese New year. Kevin returns from overseas for a different kind of reunion – the demise of his father. When he reaches, his sister, Jennifer is busy calling up the relatives and the funeral parlour.Suddenly, Kevin recalls that Meng wished to be donated to the hospital after death. This is one of the conversations he remembers most vividly about his stoic father. Meng always had an admiration towards helping others through medicine and urged his children down the medical path. However, Kevin disappointed him. He decides to guard of his last wish. With the help of his helper, he disguises Meng into a traditional Chinese lion and tries to bring the body to his car when Jennifer goes out to settle the rest of the funeral. However, they face several obstacles, including Jennifer returning to retrieve some documents, an absurd hide and seek begins… A Viddsee Original ProductionDirector Statement: A parent’s care and concern over his/her child is often manifested in many ways. In our asian society, the love language our parents have is often not in words or touch but in the small gestures that they do for us. As we grow up in different generations, facing different environments and influences, our hopes and dreams may not align with our parents’ hopes and dreams for us. For those of us who have insisted in choosing a path less travelled and we have to succeed, did we make the wrong decision? Did we disappoint our parents? In this film, we explored the regrets one may have in making bold decisions towards ourselves and our parents. Beyond dreams and aspirations, perhaps there lies a bigger purpose in life.
