Let’s settle this age old debate of the east vs west! In this episode, we step back in time to explain why both regions are so dramatically different from one another and why it’s not a fair fight! We look at the organic nature of development along the east coast pre-independence, and the planned town of Jurong.
Elections are still held in a village when the pandemic virus hit. Sunarta is a Village Head who will run again using other means of campaigning other than banners. Unused mosque cars also participated in the Sunarta campaign at the Village Health Center.

Why Is Our National Language Malay?
We finish up with something we hear everyday, our language. There are many reasons why Malay is our national language. It was part of the constitution when Singapore was a part of Malaysia and was kept in part because “it’s the easiest language for all communities to learn”. It may also be because the indigenous people in Singapore are Malays.
