Writer director Otty Widasari examines various stages of a life capturing birth, youth, marriage, death, growth and the idea of ‘to eat and to find what to eat’ as a natural cycle. 

Her film Kemarin (English title: Yesterday) sees a period of one decade as some sort of an autobiography of a one’s life.
