In 2022, the number of homeless people in Singapore is reported to be over 1,000 people with more than half sleeping on the streets, and over 400 people staying in shelters. Not as rare as we might think. However, the homeless in Singapore is a largely invisible population, and thus the topic of homelessness haven’t been much discussed. In this episode, a once homeless man and a social worker who works with the homeless discuss what it's like to be homeless, the cause of it and how they can alleviate their situation.
