Voice From The Coast
Bajo (15) A middle school child on the coast of Labengki Island has a determination to change the views of his family and environment about the importance of education and nature conservation. The desire was born thanks to the advice of a teacher who taught at his school, Nurul (25). His desire to go to school and see the outside world increasingly peaked after his introduction to Bonco (30), a blogger and traveler. However, Bajo's good intentions did not go smoothly. Rejection came from Bajo's father himself. Haseng (45) has been accustomed to catching fish in ways that damage the environment. The conflict between the Bajo and his father escalated when his father also refused the Bajo's wish to continue his studies in high school, because he sailed better than school. In the midst of complicated problems, Bajo must accept the fact that his teacher, Nurul, who has always encouraged him to continue his education, must move for a reason.
