Threads Of Time

Eng Tiang Huat, a Chinese cultural shop, is a peaceful, charming respite from the rush of modern life, and a rich collection of Chinese culture and memories from the old days. Its aging owner, Jeffrey Eng, serves as its keeper and storyteller. Through old memories and collections of photographs, documents, and cultural items, the shop’s story of three generations is woven together – his grandfather, who started the shop, his father, who taught him the craft, and his own thoughts on his sunsetting trade.
