Lengger Lanang is one of the typical Banyumas, Central Java arts. This dance is performed by men who dress up like women to convey a form of gratitude to the Creator. Now in the midst of the modernization era, Lengger Lanang is increasingly rarely exhibited to the public. Ironically the male dancers who are still active preserving the culture get a negative stigma from the community. Gatot Budiyanto and Tora Dinata are few of the Lengger Lanang dancers who are still actively performing. Through the association of Lengger Lanang Langgeng Sari they still try to preserve the culture that has been the region's identity. So how could they endure from the negative stigma of some people against the lengger lanang dancers?
