A father-son pair reconcile their differences over their love for cooking and, most importantly, their love for each other.
The Last Puff
On a day like any other, Ah Wei gets up to cook lunch. As he prepares each ingredient, his father joins him to reminisce about being a chef. Ah Wei turns a deaf ear to his father's advice on cooking and his father starts nagging about his bad habit of smoking. Ah Wei becomes frustrated but continues to cook. Eventually, his father stops nagging and leaves the house to get groceries and cigarettes for Ah Wei. Ah Wei finishes cooking and brings the dishes out to the dining table. After much deliberation, Ah Wei decides that he will smoke his last cigarette and asks his father to eat with him.
