Though making ends meet is hard work for a young newlywed couple, their tremendous love and commitment towards family and children from day one, sees little Vichea born healthy and well-nourished. At the age of nine, Vichea meets a bespectacled businesswoman by chance, and highly looks up to her. She gifts Vichea with a keychain, sparking Vichea’s interest in the reason behind the woman’s success. She later learns that only education would get her there. Years later, Vichea is an ambitious but struggling senior in an architectural degree, and moves to a new area with her parents. Her new neighbour, a middle-aged man, dislikes her from the start. He sees Vichea as bad and useless until a serendipitous experience takes place.
