Baisakhi is a 9-year-old girl who lives with her grandmother in a Eastern Terai village of Nepal in the indigeneous community (Caste Tajpuriya). They are poor. She always wears the same old short skirt. On New Year's Eve, she desires a new red flower printed skirt worn by girls of the same age in the different community. Will her grandmother be able to fulfil her desire by selling pigeons?
