The film explores problems of the Hong Kong education system with a comical approach. The story revolves around the lives of a few zombies and satirises Hong Kong's spoon-fed, rigid education system, showing how it takes away the vigour of the city's students. 

The story is set in a zombie academy “St. Zombia”: the whole school consists of only three zombie students and a pretty half-zombie, half-human hybrid who is the principal, the teacher and the tutor of the academy. The students work hard in the academy to imitate human behaviour. One of them even dreams of becoming a singer…
