Kelvin is a senior sales executive who crosses path with his condominium’s security guard, Shanti, after getting stopped for smoking in a non-smoking area. One afternoon, Kelvin finds out that Shanti has been admitted into the hospital. After visiting her, he finds out about her four children and that her husband has passed away two years ago. She appeals to Kelvin, and he promises her that her four children will not go hungry.
