A short transit turns French protagonists, backpackers Ariane and Sabine into overnight murderers after a bizarre encounter with a drunk German in the middle of the night. A series of misfortune ensues as both women attempt to get off scot free by disposing their victim as well as their absurd murder weapon, a durian.
