The sweet dumpling is a traditional dessert that meant something to Grandma, it represents Reunion, and also reminds her of the sweet times she had with her father when she was young. Granddaughter knows grandma cannot have sweets because of her diabetics, so she specially made some sweet dumplings with a substitute sweetener so they both could enjoy an authentic taste of “Reunion”.
