An upgraded cyborg in the mould of a real human female is ordered back to its HQ for further development. Efforts to bring this batch of new cyborgs into full consciousness proved futile until one model, X7 runs into her new R&D superior, Jack, who looked identical to someone she knows.

The facial recognition triggers back memories dated back to her life more than 60 years ago, subsequently throwing her back into consciousness. She escapes from the order but somehow is helped by Jack. She soon realises Jack is not her old lover who is no longer around.
