When Jennifer Lim was introduced to Bukit Brown Cemetery, she was in awe of the many cultural and historical remnants there that manage to help her reconnect with her Chinese-Peranakan ancestry. Realizing that the cemetery is threatened by development plans, Lim decides that something has to be done in order to raise awareness for the value of Bukit Brown. Fueled by this desire, she attempts to document as much tiles from the cemetery as possible. Thus, the tile-hunt project begin.
