Scene City: Office Incognita

Ever since the passing of her late husband five years ago, 65-year-old Beatrice started working as a cleaner at a financial advisory firm. At work, her teal blue uniform blends perfectly into the bleak and sterile backdrop of the corporate milieu. Most office workers pay her no heed unless her service is required — which normally means spilled coffee or clogged toilets. Otherwise, her presence is virtually non-existent; to all but a new temporary employee, Gwen, who never fails to greet her every morning. When Beatrice catches Gwen crying in the toilet one day, she goes to do everything in her little capacity to support the young lady in secret.
