Untac is born in 1993, during the first election in Cambodia. His father is an soldier from the United Nations who came to help Cambodia during that time. His parents met each other while his mother was working in an hotel. Thus, Untac is born as half Cambodian half African and suffers many hardships. People discriminates him because he is a lady boy, and even worse, has black skin. In the past, he wanted to become white to be beautiful like others and he hated they way he looked. But now, he feels good with his newly found unique look.
