Desperate to end their suffering, an impoverished father seeks mercy killing of his diseased son. Mukesh, a poor betel leaf seller, struggles hard after his son is diagnosed with mouth cancer. Living in this condition and to feel his son slowly dying a painful death is intolerable to him. Mukesh decides to poison his food and end it all. Eventually his dilemma and confusions open his eyes to a new vision of strength and understanding. His perception of life irrevocably changed in his efforts to kill his son and it brings a conscious transformation in his life. The father and son form a different bond as they relent to their destiny.
