Marya, a religious teenager claims herself to be the Virgin Mary. She goes to church everyday and never misses Sunday masses. Amidst of all these, she is suffering from schizophrenia, a mental disorder characterized by abnormal behavior, strange speech, and a decreased ability to understand reality. Other symptoms include false beliefs, unclear or confused thinking, hearing voices that do not exist, reduced social engagement and emotional expression, and lack of motivation. She is not even aware of her illness because of her belief that she is the Virgin Mary. She acquired all of this because of her past experiences from her aunt.
