The film follows an elderly man, UNCLE TAN, who takes on a post-retirement job as a convenience store assistant covering the night shift. This job helps him kill time while funding his daily expenses with his wife, MRS TAN. However, due to the nature of his job, he realises that spending time at the convenience store is contrary to less time spent with his wife.

Upon knowing that his co-worker has left and the manager is looking for a replacement, he thought of introducing his wife to work alongside with him. The couple both see this as a great way to be involved in each other’s lives again. While working together, they both find the joy of simply romancing life, once again, as lifetime partners.
