Kuantan’s Shakespeare follows Zurin, a poet keeping the art of traditional Malay poetry alive through his modern-day vlogs. Not letting his recent stroke deter him, Zurin records his mundane surroundings and adds his own colourful poems to them.

This film was produced as part of a documentary module, On-Location Production, where students had to find and film a story in Kuantan, Malaysia within 3 days.
