Set in an alternate, fascist-ruled Malaysia, 'ASA' is told through the eyes of Aishah as she navigate the dangerous war-torn landscape of the country her father, Colonel Shahir helped build. The degradation and suffering she notices around her, fuels the overwhelming desire to seek help from the outside world, as they plot a potentially dangerous escape from the political cages they were in.
