Getting Closer (只想和你接近)

The nine-year-old boy Ka-shuen and his family lives in an outlying island. Ka-shuen always plays around the wharf after school. Then he goes home as he hears the ferry whistling, knowing his father, a serious construction worker, come home. While the family is having dinner, Ka-shuen is always criticized by his father for the way he holds the chopsticks. To some extent, the whole family is afraid of the father. One day, however, when Ka-shuen go back home, his father is absent. Ka-shuen is determined to start a new journey.
