Voices of Youth introduces a new perspective of hardcore punk featuring Spiral, a Gen Z band consisting of Ed, Eddy, Halifi and Dan. Sharing their experiences on how they started the band, Spiral gives us an inside look on how they continue to progress as a band, despite pandemic restrictions and highlight the issues that are important to them through their music.

Director Statement:
Hardcore Punk is often associated with a lot of negativity and anger. Through this documentary, I wanted to shed a different perspective on the genre particularly with a new wave of bands from Gen Z. With the availability of technology and the influence they have on social media, sensitive topics and issues that used to be suppressed are now being addressed. The spirit of this new wave of bands allows more inclusivity, welcoming audiences from all walks of life.
