Food Across Borders

The closure of the Malaysia-Singapore border in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic led to many Malaysians being stranded in Singapore. Although she is not wealthy and her own health is poor, 39-year-old Singaporean housewife Rara Leman has taken it upon herself to provide home-cooked meals for the Malaysians who cannot go back home. This film shares a heart-warming message of compassion beyond nationalities.
