Find a Cause, Have an Effect: The Chain Reaction Project

The Chain Reaction Project (TCRP) started in 2009, when a group of four Singapore-based women decided to challenge themselves and take part in the 450-KM Tour de Timor bike race. During their preparation, they learned about the severe malnutrition needs of this impoverished nation and decided to raise funds as part of their journey. An astonishing $44,500 was raised from friends and family for the HIAM Health Malnutrition Rehabilitation Centre; the next year, a team of 22 people returned with them to Timor-Leste to run the Dili Marathon of Peace. And with that, a movement was born.
