Ke Yin failed to graduate when her mom was alive. The Circuit Breaker period happens and Graduation Day is impending. Ke Yin begins to dislike her grandfather, Tian Fa as he constantly reminds her of Graduation Day, filling her with guilt. She eventually opens up to him in an attempt to overcome her guilt, striving to live within her own expectations.
