The story depicts a daughter returning from London due to her mother’s sudden death. She came back to arrange and attend the funeral with her aunt. On the 7th day of her mother’s passing, the home spurs memories and her hatred feeling towards her mother, who once left her family for good to come back to Hong Kong and become a principal. The mother put lots of time and effort onto her students, whilst she neglected her daughter’s need and wants. Since the remarriage of the father, the daughter became nefarious, volatile, and riotous with a notorious reputation. She tries to reconcile with the past during the stay, and finally chooses not to leave again.
