Dropping Ashes

Ming, an 18-year-old, is the only son of his elderly parents. After his sudden death, his spirit lingers around his parents due to his reluctance to leave. According to Taoist belief, the deceased will return home to see the family for the last time on the seventh day after his death. Ming's parents decide to prepare a "reunion dinner" for their beloved son. Also, on this seemingly ordinary day, the family of three finally confronts the loss of a loved one openly and strives to reach reconciliation.
