Chinese Opera Boy (梨園道遠)

To become a master in Cantonese Opera, one has to stand tremendous hardship, both physically and emotionally.

Kit, a secondary school teenager, has been a Cantonese Opera fan since he was a kid. He is particularly fascinated by the “Flying Chair” technique performed by Master Fai. Kit is dying to become Fai’s apprentice. However, Fai keeps on rejecting him and appears reluctant to take apprentices and pass them his lifelong skills. On the other hand, Kit’s mother presses him to go studying abroad and give up Cantonese Opera. Reality seems to be against his way. Can Kit pursue his Cantonese Opera dream?
