Sophie and David's marriage is strained from trying to conceive for years. The couple finally decides to adopt a nine-year-old boy, Nicky, from the local adoption agency.

On the day of the adoption, strange things start to happen around the house and at the Thong Lee crane yard where David works at.

Sophie soon finds out that her husband's ex-boss, Mr Thong Lee, was linked to the deaths of Nicky's parents and twin brother.

Later that night, David gets into a car accident and Sophie realises the truth behind the entire incident.

But is it all a little too late?
