Through Songs, We Share Stories

There are many ways to convey the truth of an event to the next generation, one of them through the sung writing. This is the path chosen by the Dialita Choir in voicing the truth of the events they had experienced in 1965.

Although the lyrics are about the natural beauty, parents, friends and love of the homeland, the Dialita Choir tries to give one other point of view in reading the history of that dark matter.

In addition to attempts to tell the truth, singing became one way of healing the wounds of stigma and discrimination that during their 53 years experienced.
