Lin, a girl from mainland china, is engaged, but confused. She drifts through Hong Kong, unable to accept the love triangle in her life, and eventually comes to Taiwan to escape reality.

In Kaohsiung, she met a native taxi driver—Hong—who holds strongly to his local identity. Lin accidentally charters Hong's car and spends two nights with him. Even though he is young, Hong is strangely calm and unwilling to leave Kaohsiung which confuses Lin.

Soon enough he opens up, and tells Lin why he chooses to stay. Lin also slowly lets go of the past, and starts thinking about where she belongs. With unexpected sparks and two different concepts of life, Lin and Hong discussed leaving or sticking with their homes. The relationship between them blossoms. Love is like the wind: Endless waves.
