In order to raise funds for his grandfather’s trip to Beijing, Xiao Yang sold off one of the most precious traditional garments used for ritual performance from the family. This ritual garment was later found misused at a bar with disrespectfulness appearing at TikTok videos. A good friend of Xiao Yang’s father in Shanghai saw the video and instructed his journalist staff to find the ritual garment. Together with the journalist from Shanghai, Xiao Yang goes hunting for the ritual garment in the ancient town and ended up in a fist fight.

This movie was partly filmed in Shanghai and most of the scenes are shot at Fenghuang ancient town in the southwest of Hunan Province in early 2023. The film delights audiences with rich cultural heritage of Fenghuang ancient city, magnificent sceneries and colorful ethnic customs of the Miao and Tujia ethnic minorities.
