Zi Jie terrorises the neighbourhood cats after midnight to vent his frustration at being bullied in school. Thanks to his encounter with the mysterious Cat Lady, he understands that he has much to gain by treating animals with care and respect. Through their late-night conversations, Zi Jie learns how to resolve his bully problems. The wisdom the Cat Lady has imparted will stay close to his heart even after her abrupt departure.
