In the Antex textile factory (Hangzhou, China) destinies are crossed, hopes seem lost and only the dream of a better future remains. However, the charismatic boss, Qian An Hua, searches for the utopia of a happy factory by introducing several activities, festivals and dances imported from around the world. The colony is preparing for Christmas and Li Xueqin, a young girl that has just arrived in the factory, and the veteran family Wang show us trough their lives the bittersweet symphony of this curious cosmos where more than 2000 employees live and work.
