Power State

Brisbane, 1985. A corrupt state government and a brutal police force has brought the organised labour movement to its knees. The long standing Premier, Joh Bjelke-Peterson, has moved to privatise the electrical industry, in doing so extending the working week and taking away job security. Martin Andrews, a family man and union leader, finds himself forced into the front lines of a bitter fight for worker's rights and square in the sights of some powerful enemies.
