Oath (Panata)

After receiving unwanted attention from her school principal for still not having memorized the Philippine patriotic oath, Marie, a young student, is taken from her class and sent to the principal's office. Under the supervision of her school principal, Marie is blindfolded and tasked to recite the Philippine patriotic oath in its entirety. With each mistake she is scolded and asked to repeat the lines until she is finally able to recite perfectly. Driven to the edge by her unrelenting and abusive principal, Marie, a young student, realizes that she finds it difficult to memorize the Philippine patriotic oath because she can't empathize with the lines and instead delivers an oath that is true to what she believes in.
