Kokoda is an indigenous tribe of west Papua that lives in Sorong city. The rapid development in Sorong makes them more and more squeezed - they are greatly affected by the construction of Domine Eduard Osok airport - and, as a result, they become nomadic. In the phase of seeking asylum, they migrate to Sorong district and live settled with the transmigrants.
