Since ancient times, the Grujugan village is known as village of the largest bamboo hat producer in Kebumen, so that the public, up to this time, call it the Bamboo Hat (Tudung) village.

Sejak jaman dulu, desa Grujugan terkenal sebagai desa penghasil topi bambu terbesar di Kebumen, sehingga masyarakat, hingga saat ini, memanggilnya kampung tudung.
