Nurul is different from other kids. She speaks to herself and struggles to communicate. She is teased at school and her family struggles to take care of her. A tragic accident sheds light on how important support and communication is for people living with autistic individuals. The story is based on the work of Temasek Cares–(Support Autism through Family Empowerment) SAFE (Support Autism through Family Empowerment) programme, which equips families with the skills to manage and care for children with autism, and to provide a conducive home environment for their development.
