An Agreement Over Dinner

Alone in their antique of a house, Susan and David are preparing an early special dinner for their 30th wedding anniversary.

The film enters a montage of Susan writing a cryptic letter. On top of this montage, we hear the couple’s conversations. They range from forgetfulness, to the reminiscences of their honeymoon and their younger years, to their worries about the aging and sickness they’ve experienced, to their children and the recently achieved satisfaction from having grandchildren from all their children.

Once everything’s set, they settle for their dinner. But shortly after the first bite, silence takes over and soon, only the utensils are heard. Something tragic is running underneath this innocent-looking dinner.
