Joan is a mother. The whole story revolves around her and her family (Husband and Son). She loves her family a lot and hopes that one day the family will be back together again. Things get worst when she accidentally feeds her child the wrong medication that causes her son to be brain dead.

Driven to a corner, she gathers enough courage to make a wish/prayer for her son and husband to come back. Her son miraculously comes back from the dead.

However, her son does not come back normal. He becomes very weird and violent. She shrugs it off and is in denial as her husband keeps warning her. She eventually faces reality when she enters his room. She then hurries to the rooftop and sees her child attacking her husband. She then has to make a decision to kill her only son or let her husband die. This is when her love for her child is tested which is what the story is about.
