When the pandemic led to a lockdown on the Singapore-Malaysia borders, Xiao Long, one of many Malaysians who were left stranded and jobless, turned to an act of desperation. In order to continue providing for his family back home, Xiao Long decided to rob a minimart but things quickly took a turn and didn’t go the way he had hoped.
