Set in 1964 Singapore, '21st July' takes a peek into the lives of 2 friends, Hock & Halim as they engage in their favourite activity of the day, fishing. As Halim cajoles a reluctant Hock to go fishing the next day, an unexpected event occurs that threatens to forever change the course of their friendship.
