Alwi is a mosque caretaker and prayer announcer (muadzin). He has been hesitant about the path he must choose to leave his job as a prayer announcer (muadzin) or get another job in a big city. Meanwhile the mosque began to be deserted and abandoned by society, until one day he meets a kid named Akbar who wants to learn adzan and open his mind.
