60-year-old Yu Quan copes with his life by working as a roadside newspaper seller. By chance he encounters Darren - a young adult in his early 20s who’s a misfit in the Singaporean system and who is estranged from his parents and life. 

The meeting leads to an unexpected conversation. Yu Quan finds out that Darren joins a prominent gang in order to escape from his family problems and to have a sense of belonging. However the talk leads to Yu Quan opposing aggressively, backfiring the argument between both. What sparked a huge reaction between the two, and how will it end?
