RASKIN

"Raskin" is the story of an out of job history professor of the same name, who is unable to adjust to the chaos of the world underlined by violence. While growing up, he had issues with routine things such as boarding a train which otherwise seem harmless to normal being. With age, his feelings become stronger and he starts having paranoia about the acts of atrocities perpetrated on mankind in the past. He loses his job and is left alone rotting with his thoughts. The film captures a day in the life of Raskin and how he immerses himself in vices such as alcohol to cope with his surroundings.

"Raskin" symbolizes the growing apathy towards human concerns and a degrading sense of kinship. The story reflects on the modern day relevance of ‘Vasudhev Kutumbakam’. The protagonist is constantly getting drunk while roaming around the streets representing the anti-establishment feeling that has crept up in the modern society.
