From picking rubbish in dumps to a director of Mercedes-Benz company in Cambodia.
From Misery to Skilled Job
Mr. Khun, Chantha comes from a very poor family in Cambodia and suffered from poverty and violence. When he was a teenager, he moved to Phnom Penh where he went to rubbish dumps to find things to sell to get a little money to support his education. With the help of Pour un Sourire d'Efant, a French organization that helps children from rubbish dumps in Cambodia by providing them shelter, education, emotional support, food and health care, Mr. Khun Chantha was able to continue his schooling. Now, he is a director of Mercedes-Benz Company.
